In addition to her residential practice, Rose offers a distinctive specialty in marinas and commercial waterfront properties — a niche shaped by years of hands-on experience full-service marina management, as well as being a lifelong boater from a family of generational marine industry professionals. .
From the protected harbors of the North Shore to the bustling inlets and bay communities of the South Shore, Rose has a working knowledge of the region's waterfront landscape: tide and depth considerations, dockage configurations, dry stack and wet slip economics, fuel and service operations, DEC and Army Corps permitting realities, and the seasonal rhythms that drive revenue and valuation.
Having lived the day-to-day of marina operations — managing slip inventories, navigating coastal regulations, and overseeing capital improvements — she understands what makes a waterfront asset perform and where hidden value (or hidden risk) tends to sit on the balance sheet.
This insider's perspective allows Rose to advise buyers, sellers, and investors of marinas, boatyards, yacht clubs, and commercial waterfront properties with a depth of insight rarely found in the real estate industry. Whether the goal is acquiring a turnkey marina, repositioning an underperforming asset, or divesting a generational holding, she brings the operational fluency and market context Long Island waterfront transactions demand.
Beyond the brokerage practice, Rose serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Association of Marine Industries (AMI Long Island), a position she has held on the AMI Board since 2020. The AMI represents more than 100 boatyards, marinas, yacht clubs, brokers, and marine-related businesses across Long Island, and her seat on the board gives her a direct view into the industry's most pressing issues — dredging, workforce development, storm-recovery funding, and waterfront policy at every level of government.
Outside of real estate, Rose enjoys boating and sailing the local waters, hiking, fitness, and cooking, as well as time spent with her dogs, nieces, and nephews.
Rose currently serves on the Board of the AMI Long Island (Association of Marine Industries) as their Treasurer, a role she has held since 2020.
The AMI is a non-profit marine trade organization that has promoted Long Island's boating economy for over thirty years. Its membership comprises more than 100 boatyards, marinas, boat & yacht dealers, yacht clubs, yacht brokers, and marine support businesses — each dedicated to the professional service of the Long Island boating community.
